Our humble roots date back to the year 1958, a period during which India as a free country was facing a socialist boom. Our founder, Late Shri Sitaram Narsaria, discovered a paucity of reliable sources for Band Saw Blades & Hardware Goods to small and medium scale mills & factories at a period during which the growth rate and demand were sky-rocketing. This indicated an exceptional prospect for the inception of a business to fill this dearth. Hence, to cater to all the top notch Industries, Bijoy Trading Company was established in the former capital state of West Bengal.

Our glorious stint in the supply and manufacturing of hardware commodities lasted for nearly two decades. We had made a name for ourselves on a national scale with sheer dedication towards our clients and by supplying exceptional quality products exceeding expectations. But we shifted our focus gradually as the scope for growth wasn’t quite bright in that line of work. Soon we discovered the promising line of Spring Steel Strips, which had immense scope for expansion and growth. Infact, it is the raw material for most of the hardware products that we used to deal in and there are limitless applications of this Special Steel. Literally sky is the limit. Our initial annual turnover was around 100 MT. We sure were gradually expanding and our only objective was to supply the best.

In the year 1990, Mr. Prakash Narsaria stepped into the business and with all the perseverance took our firm to greater heights. With his coming of the age mindset, he implemented many changes and added numerous new products and niche grades to our portfolio. In the past 30 years he has constantly strived to improve the quality of the steel to match the expectations of our clients. Several new suppliers were developed, both locally and internationally, to ensure diversity. And as infra is concerned, we have majorly excelled in that too, with our current sales & service network ranging throughout the country.

Today we have 30+ grades in our product portfolio which we are regularly stocking and importing to provide just in time deliveries to our esteemed clients. Our annual turnover has also increased considerably at around 3000 MT today, and we aspire to take this number to 10000 MT in the near future with pure hard work and customer satisfaction. Today we are proud to have our name associated with some of the biggest companies of the world and all of these seem like a feather on our cap.
